rePurpose Global Impact Framework in action

The BASE Framework is our leading impact creation process that is the strong foundation for each rePurpose Global plastic recovery impact project. This framework ensures that our interventions in each geography create additional, impactful and verifiable outcomes.

1. Baseline
Limited collection and worker exploitation
  • In the Udupi district, only 1% of plastic waste is collected.
  • Waste management systems in the villages surrounding Udupi - a coastal city - are vastly under-resourced
2. Additionality
New collection systems to prevent ocean plastic
  • Scale consistent and reliable door-to-door collection in villages where it didn't exist.
  • Support transportation to the best end-of-life destination for materials
3. Solution
Solution for Project Anmol Kinara
  • Increase collection rates
  • Management of recovered plastics
4. Evaluation
3 third-party audits since 2022
  • The project has had 3 third-party audits since 2022. No critical gaps have been found, and it has been documented that the impact partner has improved on its documentation and on-ground work.

Impact Guaranteed with rePurpose Global’s Proprietary Technology - reTrace

Impact Beyond Plastic Recovery

Impact Beyond Plastic Recovery

Waste Warrior - Asha Moolya

“My role with Project Anmol Kinara has given me a chance to earn more money to support my husband and improve our quality of life while also being able to spend more quality time with my family.”

Asha Moolya, once burdened by the long hours and limited staff at Solid Liquid Resource Management (SLRM) in the Nitte Grama panchayat, found a lifeline when she decided to join Project Anmol Kinara in Udupi. Her previous job had her working long hours with no holidays which often resulted in spending limited time with her family. After joining rePurpose Global’s Project Anmol Kinara she had the opportunity to find a job with reasonable hours allowing her to balance work and family.
