Cheers to a Cleaner Future

BeatBox’s sustainability journey began with their initial product development, giving careful consideration to ingredient and packaging choices. Their products are packaged in resealable and recyclable packaging, but in 2020 the company took their sustainability a step further. Since, BeatBox has been Certified Plastic-Neutral through a partnership with rePurpose Global, funding the collection, processing, and reuse of as much ocean-bound plastic waste as the volume of plastic used across its packaging and operations.

Reducing Waste, One Box at a Time

BeatBox’s commitment to sustainability appeals to eco-conscious consumers– differentiating the brand in a competitive market and positioning their brand as a leader in the food and beverage industry. BeatBox actively collaborates with other brands to champion sustainability improvements and increase both recycling access and the recyclability of product cartons. They formed the Carton Recycling Action Group through partnership with the Naturally Network, a U.S. organization for conscious consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. The Carton Recycling Action Group works to improve recycling access and provide education to facilitate increased recycling of cartons.

BeatBox’s partnership with rePurpose Global allows their brand to take immediate action against the plastic pollution on our planet, while they work to improve recycling access and sustainable packaging options in the CPG space. In 2021 alone, BeatBox removed over 154,000 pounds of ocean-bound plastic waste with rePurpose Global by funding waste management initiatives in India. As of March 2025, BeatBox has recovered 4.3 million pounds of plastic from our environment through rePurpose Global. Their funding has supported 142 workers at 4 different Impact Projects (3 of which are still active in 2025). Their partnership with rePurpose Global will continue to support these communities and fight plastic pollution in 2025 and years to come.

Sustainability Benefits for the Brand

Though BeatBox’s brand is playful and as adventurous as their lineup of flavors, they take sustainability seriously. BeatBox prominently features its Verified Plastic Recovery (VPR) program (Certified Plastic Neutral) on product packaging and in their marketing campaigns, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability.

BeatBox has also participated in rePurpose Global’s Plastic Reality Project, an event hosted by rePurpose Global to give businesses and sustainability leaders an opportunity to see the plastic waste crisis and innovative solutions - up close and in person. This first-hand experience gave BeatBox leaders valuable insights into the plastic waste crisis and reinforced their dedication to environmental stewardship.

“We make our business eco friendly so our customers don’t have to worry about that.”
Aimy Steadman, Beatbox Co-founder and COO

Through their commitment to sustainability and their partnership with rePurpose Global, BeatBox has been able to differentiate their brand, position themselves as a leader in CPG and sustainable innovation, and have a measurable impact on the waste crisis. BeatBox knows that sustainability is the key to future-proofing their business. By taking action against plastic waste with rePurpose Global and incorporating sustainable practices into the foundation of their brand, they’re ensuring their party will not stop.
